šØ The art of formatting a one-pager
While this chapter is full of guidelines and recommendations, keep in mind that what you are about to do is a highly creative process that requires ingenuity, craftsmanship and, let’s not be afraid of the word since we’re all musicians here, virtuosity!
Though a one-pager might appear jam-packed at first glanceāafter all, it squeezes a ton of information while trying to keep the font size as big as possible, so what else to expect?āto the untrained eye, it should actually look aesthetically pleasing:
- the separation between sections should be clear
- the chords, the lyrics, the name tags and the multipliers should all be nicely aligned vertically
Don’t think of the next sections as if they were some rules to be followed, see them instead as a journey to unleash your creativity.
