The goal of a one-pager is that its content has the biggest font size possible. Unlike the recommendations for most documents, using decimal points for the font size is highly encouraged. Every 0.1 point makes a difference!

As for the title & artist header, whenever possible, try to stick to an integer font size. The recommended font size is around 5 points over the font size of the content. For one-pagers with very big font size (e.g. 25 points or more), feel free to increase the font size of the header even more!

Another way to optimize the space is to play with the vertical spacing of the content, a.k.a. Line Spacing. As a general rule, avoid a Line Spacing below 97% since it would make the text too cramped. That’s usually the sign you should reduce the font size and increase the vertical spacing.

To the contrary, increasing the vertical spacing is a good way to make the text more readable. You should try that whenever there’s some space left at the bottom of the page!

Similarly, you can try to increase the vertical spacing between the title & artist header and the content (a.k.a. Below Paragraph Spacing) to make the page feel less clogged.
