Let's underline those chord changes!
You’re all set! Go ahead and start underlining the lyrics š
If you struggle to figure out where in the lyrics the chord change is happening, just tap the tempo with your fingersāe.g. 1-2-3-4 in 4/4 time signature and 1-2-3 in 3/4āwhile listening to the song. This should help you figure out if a syllable is before, after or aligned with the chord change.
Also, make sure to:
- Underline the lyrics for each bar, even when there’s no chord change
- Use the half and quarter underlines for chord changes within the same measure
- Save the file when you’re done!
Tip
As a reminder, you can assign the keyboard shortcuts to each of the measure styles to automatically apply the corresponding underline to the text.
