✒️ The One-Pager Chords Writer styles
The ODT template uses styles-based formatting and comes preloaded with a bunch of styles:
- Two paragraph styles:
Titlefor the title and artist headerStandardfor the rest of the page
- Five character styles, a.k.a. the measure styles, one for each type of underline, used to represent the position of the chords (see table below)
Make sure to stick to these styles when preparing your one-pager and avoid using direct formatting
Tip
The One-Pager Chords magic macros collection can take care of handling everything styles-related for you so you can entirely focus on the content rather than on the format.
Here are the measure styles, along with their recommended LibreOffice keyboard shortcut for QWERTY keyboard layout (and AZERTY):
| Position of the chord | Type of underline | Name of the style | Keyboard shortcut |
|---|---|---|---|
| First chord of the line | Standard underline | Measure #1 | Alt+Q (Alt+A) |
| Second chord of the line | Dotted underline | Measure #2 | Alt+W (Alt+Z) |
| Chord for the half of the first measure | Bold standard underline | Measure #1½ | Alt+A (Alt+Q) |
| Chord for the half of the second measure | Bold dotted underline | Measure #2½ | Alt+S (Alt+S) |
